Take the Bus
Curves for comfort
Down like a pillow
Cool and temporary
Bending like willow
Wasn't mean to stay
Many other’s fill the page
Skoshe more than throw away
Good old reliable
She’ll be there
Didn’t care… as I did
Thought we was people
More cohesive
Smile through sessions
While you played
Sittin fan below stage
Danced around
Spit mystic sage
Created the sound
Was a must
Cause before I land I’ll take the bus
Won’t be cursed
to second hand
Work to be ignored
Edge sweat off chin
You sitting bored
Not them tasty people
savored for dessert
Cheaper to sweep'em
Ain’t no way
I’m jettin first
Hang like leftovers
from yesterday?
Loved to love you
Pay for pay
Mesmerized crowds
Screaming O's
Guru with a steady flow
Spinning yarns
Gifted charms
Unchained and mellow
Verbal massah, wreaking disaster
on ambient
Cream whipped with blues
Grown full of yourself
All that’s left is you
Smile through seasons
While you played
Sittin fan below stage
Danced around
Created the sound
Spit mystic sage
Loved to love you
while it was paid
Way things are
couldn’t have stayed
So I’m gone boo
Too much fuss
Cause before I land I’ll take the bus

Ride by the corner of Farmington and Edgehill and sit for awhile on the porch with me while we dance with words about all that can be seen. You catch a rythmn and bring music to your words. You make this reader feel you talking to him all about another who couldn't quite hold the strap to handle the ride. There is always another bus if you got the time. But something tells me no matter which one you catch, you will do just fine.
Love, Tom B.
