There is a wonderful thing called Spring

Feel the light and the sun,
be on your skin, truly done
and gone is the rain from the day!
And be it now a true stay
for the wonderful light
that shines through the trees, truly bright
giving me a taste for my pen and sketchbook
while I sit beyond the deeped watered brook.
Little birdies fly and fly by my sight,
singing a song jovially in their flight.
And I am truly happy that it is spring beside me,
where my imagination runs far and free,
as well as my creativity and my flaring dignity
while I paint it in water colors the following week,
down beside the brook, this time a creek.
The water runs smoothly and with a musical chime,
and with the bird's song, detailing that it's spring time.
And that is why I love the spring,
because it displays nature's wondrous ring
and the beauty of it, which is better than anything...!
