The temperature soars high by early morn
Already it is hard to breathe
A Total Fire Ban we all are warned
Blusterous winds thrash homes and trees
Bushlands parched with no rain is sight
In drought the land already suffers
The very last thing we need today
Is a crazed arsonist lighting up fires
News flashes accross the television screen
A fire front has gone out of control
Hells fury devours both homes and towns
Both people and animals lose their souls
Burning embers rain from the sky
A tornado of fire closes in on all sides
Fear and confusion colliding in pain
Only devestation is all that remains
Faces of survivours shut down in shock
Many loved ones unaccounted for
Families torn apart in a moment of time
Mothers fathers sons and daughters
Yet from the ashes Australia stands up
Proud of our country all should be
Together as a nation we pull together
Unity and love our countries true beauty
In Rememberance of all whom perished and all whom survived on Saturday 7th Feburary 2009
Special thanks to all Fire Fighters; Australia and overseas; and to all Volunteers whom have given and are giving hope to those whom have tragically lost.

Wow...
What the enemy means for evil God will trun for our good...
...so I pray for the families that have suffered as well...and pray that in the midst of this...God will be glorified..

Such Sorrow...
But as you have stated, many have pulled together, and are helping one another. May all who have been harmed in any way be healed soon, and find peace. Much love my friend, you're a true gem.
Love Timothy
