Rainbow's End

The sun dances through
the window, splashing
colors across the room.

Our naked forms,
entwined, take on
hues of light that
warm the fine drops
of perspiration that
lie upon our skin.

My tongue traces
a indigo trail down
your body… following
the rich color to it’s end.

I look at you and smile.

“So much better than
a pot of gold”
