By Odins strength
a will of might,
The solistice near
its zenith clear,
yet there is a star
that shines alight
as a jewl or gem
brighter than the sun.
And that star is love
as mine for you.
As dain will come,
till then I shall
cherish
these mere moments
beneath the glow
my radiant star.

In the ancient Norse mythology
Odin is the maker, their God.
As well the word dain, means death
a common character in Norse poetry.
