Falling; For Love

Two souls have fallen
To the bottom of desperation
Grasping and pulling up for air
Eyes filled with sadness, bodies bare
Bodies held tightly
Together pressed

The two souls collide as one
Breaking free, from falling farther
Lips pressed gently
Breathing sweet life into one another

Reaching farther hands touched air
Farther they slip from each other
The decision to fade away
They slipped into the abyss
Together held bare there love
For one another

I rather enjoyed this take on the prompt. It is sweet and romantic. However, in the last stanza, a-bis should be abyss. If you were trying to do an abbreviation of the word or something, then it really doesn't go with the poem.
Thanks for entering and best of luck in my contest!
