REd SCare

battles in Europe ceased and desist
but peace and security in the states were amiss

replacing our almost found happiness

was fear of anarchy, immigrants and communists

in China it was bread by Chiang Kai-Shek

his processor Mao Zedong brought it to full effect

this red scare spread like wildfire

Klaus Fuchs a German felt inspired

having the soviets build the Atomic Bomb

to recreate the actions of Vietnam

the U.S. started the Energy Commission

wanting to defend against the threat that has risen

here at home in the states

things had become irate

brother against brother, friend against friend

coworker turning against coworker with the Hollywood Ten

spies with the turn of every corner

Washington had to deal with citizens not foreigners

Truman spoke only of pacifistic loyalty

better said then done with distrust growing like algae

    I think this is good
It may do better if you use punctuation, but other than that, I think it's okay
