Tantalizing teases of winters white,
drifting, dancing gaily on the seasonal wind.
Quite contrary to this cold icy heart,
love once again having been denied.
Twisted, tangled thoughts feed a blizzard,
sadness, pain, anger encourage the storm.
A shredded souls screams lost in the chaos,
all defenses are down, pain reigns supreme.
The rage, the fear, total uncertainty,
life spins faster, faster, out of control.
The pressure building deep down inside,
threatening to erupt with one wrong word.
Calm of the storm overhead finally,
don't uncover yet, it will surely pass.

Imagery is great
I love the imagery that is going on in this piece it is really straight forward and makes sense not like some others I read! The end was a beautiful contradiction to what we would think:
Calm of the storm overhead finally,
don't uncover yet, it will surely pass.
To me meaning that right now there is no love but don't get too comfortable love will come again so keep your guard up...Excellent...thanks for entering and good luck!
