Imprisoned within this whole in my heart
Exsisting inside the craggy barrier of grief.
Dreams long ago lay dusty and dead
Mirroring petals of the last dehydrated rose...
Sorrow looms heavy forever chasing my mood
Keeping me safe from affections intent.
Faithful pillow cushions sobs in the night
Carrying me through until dawns depressed day.
Lost to the thrill of urgent kisses and need
Trapped, alone, void of loves spledor.
Just leave me be...
