I hate to bother you Lord
I know you are busy and all.
But this servant of yours
needs some help
from above.
Lord I know you can see
all that is going on here.
The pain,
sufferring,
and sorrow.
It seems like the devil
has a good foothold
in this world.
I guess what I am asking
is that we need some help down here.
We need your presence
more now than ever before.
We need your wisdom,
guidance,
and love.
We need your teachings
of love your fellow man
only then will the wars cease.
Only then will our neighbors
get the food they need,
the medical aide they need,
and the guidance they need.
Lord
only in you
may this world
come to know peace,
love,
and prosperity.
Only through you
may we seek
and receive
a perfect world.
Only through you
will we find
all we truly need,
want,
deserve.
Yes, Lord
we need you
today,
tomorrow,
and yesterday.
Lord please forgive this intrusion
but as you can see by the state of our world
we really do need you!

Lovely prayer
beautiful heartfelt write reflecting need for God in the midst of the massive suffering in the world, and like the sentiment that only if we all turned to God, things might work out differently, and that it is the evil that has such a strong foothold, not God causing the "Celestial North Korea."
