Shattered tears run down her cheek
As she screams of his deceit
A lover's heart so full or rage
Crumbles beneath his lying ways,
His eyes so full of love and life
Plead with hate, cut like a knife.
A smile, once her shining flight
Has made her weak, shaking in sight.
The tender touch she used to love
Has turned to angry, pushing shoves.
An angry fist lands 'pon her cheek
Falling to the ground, she accepts defeat.
Harsh blows turn to angry kicks
Her broken body cannot fix.
Her breathing slows, her heart soon fails
As her husband retreats from his child's wails.
Toddler eyes rest upon a painful sight
Hungry, he too gives up his fight.
Abandoned alone in a cold white bed...
They find two bodies, lying dead.
