The Norse Witch

Cloaked by velvet red
in dim hours
small hours,
before the zenith,
to call up the names
of winter
to breathe in
solistice.

The stars guide her path
as she reveals her face
to the sky, to the sun,
to Odin.

Calling the spirits
of the wind.
