Night Poem

I turn on my light,
When a poem comes at night,
I'll sneak a few lines,
Get it out of my mind,
And then turn off my light.

    This is the saddest thing - Almost all of my good poems come at night! And then I tell myself I will write it down in the morning, and in the morning, I don't remember it!
    This was a great poem and I understand it completely! "Get it out of my mind," That is what I do sometimes, I just write it down and get it out of my mind. But that is only when my mind won't let me sleep because it's a really good line and it knows I would forget it in the morning. xD
