Valentine

Your eyes are like saphires,
sparkling with every hint of light!
Your hair so smooth and cool,
like a rose petal on a spring morning!

Your skin so very smooth and soft,
like a daisy in the morning light!
Your lips so soft and moist,
like the morning dew!

More beautiful then a sunset,
as gentle as a flower!
A heart that is very caring,
but still very strong and daring!

But this you should know,
my heart is yours!
So I have one thing to ask in this rhyme,
will you be my valentine?

    I really enjoyed the first to stanzas, they have awesome images, and a great flow. The other stanzas are more telling than showing. (Which i need to work on in my won poetry). The poem as a whole, is very beautiful and gentle. Great write, pen on.
