Sounds Of A Lonely Heart

Caught up in the termaoil
fed by necessity,
Those soft spoken words
love is what it seems.
Tossed the dice
played the game,
embraced life we so played
Yet the sounds that followed
a heart so hollow,
broken from a love gone astray .

The heart holds silent tears,
lonely rooms and a heart of fear.
Sounds they say of a lonely heart,
fell to his whispers
and played the part.

The liar walks off
so proud indeed,
his lies took what was
