I wake up and open the curtains,
I get dressed and have my breakfast,
I turn on the radio and listen,
Yet, nobody hears me.
I'm coughing and sneezing,
I've been ill for days,
Everybody carries on as normal,
And, nobody hears me.
I get worse and worse,
And my parents are splitting up,
My Mum is crying, my Dad is yelling,
Nobody hears me.
3 months later,
And I'm still ill,
Nobody caring, until,
A new girl comes.
We make friends,
And I lose lots of sadness,
But the illness, it's still there,
Please help me, I yell to the girl.
She tells her parents,
And they are worried,
They take me to hospital,
And I'm being heard.
People are listening,
Doctors are curing me,
My Mum pays attention,
I am being listened to!
Author notes
If you have ever been bullied, and nobody is listening to you, tell someone you trust, if you don't have any friends, then tell a teacher. People, all together can help, but only if you let them.

Thank you very much for entering my contest. I really enjoyed reading through this. You make such a wonderful point here, people can help, and there always someone who will. Well done.
