God grant me strength along the way,
courage enough for just today.
Let me survive until tomorrow,
free from fear, safe from sorrow.
The world is vast and I am small,
hold me up lest I may fall.
I do not know what life may bring,
sometimes I find it hard to sing.
Hold me close, though I don't know it,
I'll be grateful - I'll try to show it.
