Come out, come out into the rain
That brings sweet rhythm to this night
And dance, yes dance, with me tonight.
We mustn't waste a moon so bright.
You must act now before it wanes.
Come out, come out into the rain.
Yes, be my company tonight,
Enchant me with your words tonight.
Would you deny me such delight?
You mustn't say I plead in vain.
Come out, come out into the rain.
Yes, kiss me in this storm tonight.
Sound thunder of our love tonight!
And in the lightning, let us plight.
Come out, come out into the rain.
I swear you'll never be the same...

Whoever said sun brings happiness never danced in the rain. Obviously you've danced there yourself
I love this.

I love this. I think it's fantastic. I love the rain...the last line of this piece was my favourite! Brilliant.

I agree with you about rainy days, I also adore this poem! What a wonderful way to end it! I love especially line three in the second stanza:"Enchant me with your words tonight". How many love-poems have been written that mention eloquence? Wonderful use of repetition!

Oh what fun to read! This poem makes me feel like I'm dancing in the rain! It's one of those poems that I just want to read over and over again. Does that sound like I'm all wet?

I love the rain. I do not understand why people complain on rainy days. It makes me want to go out and dance in it.
