i am no waif
on a runway
curves of the mountains
to the fertile lands
i will not starve
with the fruit, i bare
nor
find vomit upon my pillow
i am your modern goddess
paint me into your mind
because
i will not be denied
turned away or forgotten
i stand tall
no rug for you to lay upon me
your feet shall never dirty my back
but your mind will explore

intelligence free falling
not hiding behind my hair
