When asking for help
Those without enough resources like me
Only saw just another hard luck story
Waving my hand in the air
Lost in a sea of other waving hands
All seen was just another hard luck story
Can you see me in the crowd
Feeling invisible and hurting out loud
As just another hard luck story
A sea of waving hands waved back
Seeing not alone even though feels that way
When just another hard luck story
While looking for silver linings and rainbows
And counting my blessings twice
Unanswered prayers became another hard luck story
No need to cry or panic for it's nothing new
I've grown quite use to hearing and being
Just another hard luck story
Please tell me what you think

i liked this!
We are use to a lot of hard luck stories especially in this day and age. Nice job on this poem my friend! Take care!

My dear little Sissy Pixie, If I could I'd be over to Texas in a flash to help you through your pain.
Look for the rainbow in the sky with the angels smiling that I'll put there for you to put a smile on your face.
With positive thoughts you can get everything you wish for sweetheart. Remember I am with you.in spirit.
Love from you big Sissy Jo Jo

Hi Sis!
When suffering, the best thing to do is to strive to be the great person that you usually are. Often I give into self pity and it keeps from the joy of loving others. I will crawl under the covers of depression(literally) and sometimes forget to come out to see all that exists to be enjoyed in the realm of a loving God, God's people, and the planet God has given us. There are resourses and opportunities available, but you won't see them unless you look beyond the pain.
Give me the buggers names and I'll come down on them so hard they'll wish they'd never known you had a brother.

This is a look from the dark side of the cloud, that is certain. When we are ill, in pain, suffering reverses, it is hard to see that there was EVER a good day when things didn't hurt. There are so many people holding up their hands for loving attention, not giving it to themselves or to each other. This poem is a great expression of this emotional place.

Now isn't that the truth! I remember feeling I was the ONLY one who could have possibly gone throught what I went through. What a relief to know that I was not the only one and that no one else was perfect like I so stupidly thought at one time. I do still see the best in everyone.

Hi Scarlet!
How are you? I don't spend much time at Allpoetry anymore with my commitments at Storywrite.
I hope you are well.
Thanks for you wise words of encouragement to my sister.
