Death absconded with my soul,
Pleasured by the bleeding 'whole'.
Blessed tiny orange tabs,
Buffer griefs ruthless stabs.
Keeping close through misery's time,
Loyal in their seductive design.
Promising to anesthetize,
Never tiring of my cries.
Rattling in their soothing splendor,
Consistent tunes of sweet surrender.
Secured adoringly within my purse,
Increasing in harmony as they rehearse.
Tempting me with easy swallows,
Leading me gently to the waiting gallows.
Partner of mine...
Chasing after me through misery's time.
