Triumphs of the Heart

In the before and beginning,
During the after and end,
Love has shown brightly from above
While remaining hidden in the darkness below;
Follow my voice, no matter how hushed,
Long for my touch, no matter how cold;
Light the fire that lays deep inside,
Endure the long harsh cold remaining outwardly;
Forever is eternity, look to the skies,
Do not allow what shines to be extinguished;
Ignore the shadows of hatred you've seen,
Drown in the light of beloved relations felt;
Allow not the night to fall short,
Tremble before the lure of life's poison;
Ache for that pain that carries beside,
Kiss the sweet nectar of love upon his lips;
Expose to every part of the thereafter world,
Announce the glory of which you've sought;
Create that which all others opt to control,
Love once more before the death devours your soul;
Live for yet another day in the triumph known,
And eagerly await the heart's very next war.
