Practiced charm with a float o' wit
Neat and sweet if you can handle this
Give em' the poison outta the well
'nother buck er' two ta up the label.
Dig down deep in the corner right
Give em' a winner n' you'll make their night
Big pay out with punch in the middle
"Line 'em up!" no time to fiddle.
"Hunny, baby n' sweetie pie" is just fine
But pat my ass and catch one in tha eye
'Whine all ya want and throw a fit, BUT!
How do ya think yer wifes gonna deal with the truth of it...'
'Sit back down n' keep yer paws in yer lap
Behave yerself n' I'll be right back.'
Good ol' boys with drink on their mind
Just look'n for somthin to pass the time
Keep em' laughin and yer doin fine
Good luck gettin em' gone at closin time!

I really enjoyed the chat lingo in this, normally I would hate it but it fits the subject so well! It's nice to have an entry from a different perspective and had me rolling my eyes along with you at naughty-boy antics! thank you for entering!

Thanks for the comment

I love bartending! I wouldn't trade careers with a 9 to 5er for nothing
Guess I been doing it so long that it grew on me.

i liked this. it flow well aloud.its a good view of the other side of the bar.i guess sometimes you would have to slap a drunk up side the head.

LOL! yeah an occasional smack is in order.
It's usually only the regulars who will dare, they get a little too comfortable and every once in a while mistake the bartenders body parts as free game.
Funny how evertime they do it they tend to stay away for a day or two lol... come back in with red cheeks and big tips.
Thanks for the comment!

Well, quite a different point of view, but indeed, good to hear the "other side" of going to the bar for a drink! Love the feisty feel of this. Well-done.
