Together Again

 In memory of Mom and Dad

Their love began on Heaven's plane before all space and time.

Star crossed lovers and soul mates forever and ever.

Their lives this time learned the greatest of all lessons;

Unconditional Love and Forgiveness would bind their souls forever.

Though separated for twenty years, their love grew stronger each day.

He had gone before her to live on Heaven's plane.

So many times he returned to her; at night to ease her fears.

They would talk and talk til the light of day;

Then to heaven he would return.

So today she went to him; never to be separated again.

So peacefully she left this earth; a smile she had upon her face to hug her love once more.

A love like this we all pray for but found by only a few.

So live and learn Unconditional Love and Forgiveness for the other half of your soul.

And you will dance in this lifetime and and forever in heaven above.

Your love so great that was before time began and will be as great after all time shall end.

This is our love and we shall live; never to part again.

I dedicate my love to you now and forever.

  • Even if we miss our soul mate here, we catch up again. A lovely tribute and very nice picture as well.

    True. True.

    I very much like how you explained this. From the heart. Soul. Eyes. And Dream. Very realistic even though very few people see. This poem is almost a prayer. ALMOST. But yet, very true from the heart.

    After one bad marriage and 5 years with a horrible man, I finally found my soul mate. We share everything, talk about everythinng, make all deciscions together. He loves me even when I can't get out of bed; he runs around trying to make the pain better. He sent me Lillies of the Valley today-even though they're not in season here yet- because he knows they're my favorite flower. So tonight, I will shower him with words like honey- because that's who he is to me. Great poem.
