Smoking guns and tumbleweed laiden winds
the cowboys would ride day on end.
His trusty steed taking him miles
and the town whores with their lofty smiles.
The years of the cowboy have far gone
but we'll always remember when the west was won.
Hard steel and testy led
minimal meals, barely ever fed.
Gold rush came in and swept the land
of every man with a hardworking hand.
Soon after luxuries became most important
so since then real cowboys have been dormant.

In my opinion, I think your dad is right! You did a wonderful job with this, and I also love that pic you found. [I think that's me in the middle with the big stack of chips in front, lol.]
Good luck in the contest,

Wow, thank you for taking me on the wild west. Actually Billy the Kid was a relation of mine ironically enough. My grandfather on my mum's side was a Bonney so my great great great uncle is Billy the Kid. and love the rhyme.
