When I was little and in my bed.
God gave me a Daddy and Mommy
To day good-night, and kiss my head.
When I was big and got boo-boo's.
God gave me grandpa and grandma
And they loved me too.
When I was bigger,
God gave me schools and teachers too.
They taught me more of the golden rules.
While I was growing to be an adult.
There were many people who taught,
God's golden rules.
When I was a young man
And waited my fate.
God sent me a wonderful mate.
When I was ready to be a Dad
I pray God will grant me this.
A little lad or lass.
Here I sit with a babies in my arms,
With another sitting on my knee.
God grant one wish to me.
"TO BRING THEM UP WITH THEE"

What a beautiful poem and a beautiful thought. God bless you. When we dedicate our babies to God he takes care of them and watches over them and guides their footsteps.
