~~Peach Nectar~~

Missing image
Peaches...
They smell so good
As they sway in the breeze
Loving the taste
Allowing the fresh juice to flow
On my waiting lips
As I slowly lick
The peach nectar
Away

I love peaches, very sweet and tart. good for cobbler. good job.

  • This does have a sensuality to it. This is also the first that has been entered in my contest for being too short.

It is short, it is also to the point and very descriptive. You packed a lot of punch in a few words and presented a clear and complete image with your write.

Well done, thank you for entering it in my contest. I wish you the best of luck in all things.

    Adrian.

    Ah, the words
    so fresh on the page
as the peach on the vine,
    as heady as wine.

    Smacking good!!!

    Succulent!!

Hey Sis! Your poem is 'just peachy'! I really enjoyed it!

I still have a cold which is draining me and making me feel lethargic. Best thing to do is to lie down and take a nap (so that's what I'm going to do).

    Love you, Sis!

    Dear Molly,

That picture is really a doozie,
for the peaches look so ripe and juicy.
When I squeeze one or two,
    they remind me of you
'coz they're soft tho' incredibly bruisey.

If I handle their skin, not too tight
I'm quite sure that their flavour's just right.
If I ask for a taste
    Would you say I'm disgraced
    for wanting a moderate bite?

If I stroke them with gentle caress,
will you think of me any the less?
When I squeeze two or three
will they drop from the tree
or burst through their skins if i press?

AWWW! I just LOVE that picture and can just TASTE
the juiciness. And I'm so glad this isn't a contest poem, although I'm waiting for yours in our No.#41.
Applause, love and hugs, XXX Da.

This poem is delicious. It makes me want a peach so bad. Peaches are one of my favorite flavors and smells. You wouldn't believe how many peach scented beauty products and candles I own. Man I wish I could get to the store now and buy some. Well done.
