Lonely is the night
When you are out of sight
Why this has to be
I really do not see
When you left I cried a river
All I do is moan and shiver
Does it have to be this way
Me here now, you far away
Have you got another lover
Or were you hoping to dicover
Other lands omitting me
You seemed to think that I’d agree
This emptiness I feel inside
Other things I tried to hide
You’ve no idea what I go through
For being so in love with you
You want to travel far and wide
To see what’s on the other side
You leave me here alone and blue
This is too much to take from you

Truth and inner self comes ringing out in a very clear voice from you. Not many can say that Jenny . I find it a gift and wish more of us had it.

Well done
A sad and plaintif cry for help from a lonely deserted
Lady nicely rhymed and penned cleverly worded and well deserving of the bronze...George....
