March 3rd
It made me so sad
He died in my arms
I said "I love you"
He said nothing
His head grew limp in my hands
As the nurse checked his heartbeat
-silence-
He's gone
I cried
Said I loved him again
Though he couldn't hear me
I knew it was the last time
I would see him
So I said my goodbyes
And left my
Pandy

This is so sad. Poor thing. ):

-
oh, man, this is enough to shatter and grind into powder a chunk of polished granite.... very detly and and so matter-of-fact, however quite effective little piece of verse on that grim Grim Reaper...
-
Superb
Aye, I can appreciate the sentiments which you expressed so well. I lost my cat Abbey, over a year ago, and sometimes I still miss her. Thanks for sharing. -
wow this is so sad and very hard to deal with especially dieing in your arms. IN your arms for the last time. Death is really heard. Even if its a animal.

-
Very heartfelt
-
;(
aw that poem was great but really sad

-
I'm very sorry about Pandy. I really liked it. While the writing itself was simple (In a good way, I promise), you conveyed so much emotion. Great.
-
awwwww! you made me almost cry. i have pets and know the heartache when one dies. thank you for sharing this with me today. i am looking forward to reading more from you in the near future. viyanna rosemarie

very sad
The subject of death makes me feel slightly uncomfortable. I don't know why because it is just another transition, usually to a better place. Maybe it would be better for everyone if we celebrated death.
Oh well if only we all lived in a perfect world.
-
This is quite sad.
-
I felt heartbroken for you. It made me think about loosing my beloved dog. I don;t know what I would do without her. Sorry for your loss.

-
aawww
I cant imagine how I would feel if I lost Ollie.... the -silence- got me
-
aaaaw ok now i feel depressed. before i read your poem i read a very weird poem about childish jokes. when i read that, i felt really giddy and slightly amused. now i feel sad =(
but don't ge me wrong. it's a good thing when you're able to make a reader really feel something after reading you work. sorry bout your cat =(
even though i'm not a cat person, i have killed about ten fish XD.
nice write! -
Lo siento mucho! have to agree with one of the commentators. the cat sounded quite human, which just goes to show how human the cat may have been 2 you. Very sorry. Great poem!!
-
Aww, I'm sorry to hear about your kitty. I don't know what I would do if anything happened to mine. At first, I thought you were talking about a person. You have an extraordinary amount of love for your pet and this write shows it. Very emotional and sincere write. I enjoyed it a lot.
-
this was a good write its very to the point good job
-
My daughter, Sunshine, was attacked by three dogs on June 28 of last year. I remember when I found her. All I could do was pet her and cry and beg her to wake up. She was honestly like a daughter to me. We both had emotional scars- her previous owners had abused her and my childhood was filled with abuse. It was like she was my Angel. I still believe that she is my Guardian Angel.

-
this makes me feel so sad... your kitty actually sounded human there for a second, you have passed your emotion on through your writing...
-
I love this poem. Its filled with lots of emotion which was shown very well. I know what it's like to lose a pet that way. Keep your chin up and keep on writting.

Oh so precious and hard!
I know; I have been through this. Pandy did hear you! Her spirit did; and she is with you now, in everything you do. I feel all of my pets that have died around me; protecting and loving me. Pandy is with you now and always. Thank you for sharing!

I am so very sorry for your loss but your beautiful tribute to your kitten saddens yet lightens the heart with the love you felt and expressed so eloquently. I believe be it people or pets they know when they are loved at the end and it continues on ever after. Know that you did not leave him behind but carry him always in your heart. Thank you for sharing my friend beautifully done. God Bless, Jo-Ann

At least you got to say goodbye to your cat
mine up and left one day and now I don't even know if my kittonimore spitball is still alive or not. anyways nice little write

it is hard
to loose something you love, I spent last night i the barn with a very sick sheep, she lay in pain with her head on ,y lap, St Frances said we are responsible for every animal we domesticate, and you will never forget the ones you love

-
AWWWW POOR PANDY...LOVELY DEDICATION...
SO HE DIED IN YOUR ARMS?
-
very heartfelt.
thats my b-day, =] -
i loved this cause it was from the heart but i'm sorry for your loss.this was so sad it brought tears to my eyes.R.I.P Pandy

-
This was primarily prose. The emotions are clear, the style direct, and the language simple... all the elements of a truly beautiful memorial to your kitty. Having "been there", I know it doesn't pass as quickly as everyone thinks it should... hold on to the warmth of the love you felt.
Ken
PS Yes, he heard you
My dog Scooter still visits regularly so I know they stay around and the ones that are loved the most will be waiting.

So Sad!!!
Omg so sad...I know what it's like to lose a cat...:'( -
noone is ever really gone, you keep them in your mind and in your heart.....but you still made me cry!!! so well done xoxox

Ohhh what a sad and heartfelt write it brought tears to my eyes. We lost our parakeet last year after she hatched 3 babies she did not live long enough to see them grow up but the father Snowy stepped up and continued to feed and take care of the babies until they were ready to leave the nest. I still miss my dear sweet Jazzy we had her for several years and got her as a baby. I am sorry for your loss we never forget the loss of our pets they fill a special place in our hearts and bring such joy and warmth too. Thanks for sharing, hugs Theresa
