A card, a kiss
The sign of a romantic
One of lifes silly little pleasures
But today it doesn't mean dick
The flowers, the chocolate
The pricey cologne
The pisses and moans
Of those all alone
Its Valentines day
Love is in the air
Please excuse me if I should vomit
But I really don't care
A fat guy with arrows
That he shoots at your heart
And screws over a young life
Before it could even start
As the media pressure you
To put in your personal ad
And make yourself available
Or at least make you wish you would have
Now I'm not going to say
I wish it would go away
I just have a problem with
How it makes everyone behave
Because love can come
At any place or any time
So why not wait?
Why not take your time?
Because love is always out there
Its a relationship thats key
Have patience for the right one
And then maybe
This holiday will mean more
Than some gifts and a kiss
It could be a day you'll always remember
To look back on and reminisce

Just my thoughts on valentines day. I like the idea. But it also kinda screws things up for some people if ya get what I mean.

i agree with you sometimes its the day of siucides for those whos love is rejected or just not there love is every day anyday and shouldnt be commercialised well done here

omg... so true its not even funny! if ur in a relationship, ppl use the holiday to get wat they want from their 'significant other' and if ur single, u feel like crap for 'not being able' to celebrate with the special someone... psh! do wat u want, i say. its just another day of the year. the only difference is theres special lil candies to buy for it lol
