No, although I can remember vaguely situations of feeling, "oh dear god i'm going to wet myself if I keep laughing" - but I don't recall what the laughter was about. I love to laugh with my friends, and family, however, so it may have been something quite trivial.
2. Have you ever done something you said you’d never do? What?
Yes, two events spring to mind, however they are far too personal for me to post to greedy eyes upon the internet, and they are both events that I do not speak of - to anyone.
3. If you could sleep with any movie star, who would it be and why?
Todd Lasance from Fools Gold ; because Todd is perhaps the actor who has most affected me in his acting career. Fool's Gold, he had but a small role however he stars in the Australian soap Home & Away, and has moved me to tears more than once through his fantastic portrayal of a sexual abuse victim storyline. I now co-run his fansite for him, and have met him on numerous occasions, and - believe it would be harder to find a more down to earth, all around nicer star than he... Plus he's hot ;-)
4. Have you ever been in a fist fight?
No, I don't believe in physical responses as being the answer to anything.
5. Do you have ADD?
No, although I can let my brain get lazy when topics I'm not particularly interested in need to be concentrated on.
6. What was you most serious injury?
May 2007, fell off of a footpath and sprained my ankle, or so I thought. Spent a week at home bandaging it, resting it, and using crutches. Had to go to my GP for injections, and she took one look at my ankle and sent me to A&E immediately. Had xrays done on it, but sadly the doctor treating me didn't speak much English. After the xrays, he said, "xray equals nothing. go home, rest it, walk on it but no weight, but no crutches" - go figure!
After another week of hopping around, in much pain, I was scheduled to go back in for a check up. Finally got a doctor who spoke english; he did more xrays, and pronounced it to be a Grade 4 sprain [the worst] with a possible hairline fracture. He also said that I'd done more damage to it by obeying the other doctor's orders...
I spent just over 2 months on crutches after that, with my foot in an air boot all the time unless I was sleeping. By the time that came off, my foot needed physio to build up its strength again. I'm very wary of it since, and tend not to run or overexhert it - the doctor warned that one slip could send me to the bottom of the slope again...! It's a weakness I'll now have for the rest of my life.
7. If you could have any type of pet, what would it be?
I've already found my soul-pet, in Bambi, the most beloved creature of my life, who I had put to sleep on January 14th 2004, and still feel the guilt from. There will never be another like her - however, if I could have any type of pet in the world, it would be a Doberman Pinscher, black & tan.
8. Name three thoughts you’re having at this exact moment.
(a) God, how I miss Bambi
(b) i hope Todd is filming on Wednesday when I go to watch
(c) I really need to go to sleep soon.
9. How did you bring in the New Year?
With approx 10,000 other people. I was in Sydney, Australia, and in the Botannical Gardens, overlooking Sydney Harbour, Sydney Bridge & Sydney Opera House. Was sober, for once, however cheering, shouting, hugging, and screaming with approx 10,000 other people - at an event that was televised all over the world. We queued for four and a half hours in blistering hot sunshine in order to get a spot for the celebrations.
10. If you’re married, would you do it again? If you’re not married, do you want to be?
No, I'm not married - and haven't experienced full love yet, so, I'm not entirely sure on the marraige issue. Ideally, yes, I would like to find someone to marry and spend my life with, but these days, marraige and love both appear so fickle...
11. Do you have a crush on anyone on AP? Does he or she know it?
No, I tend to steer clear of online crushes after a friendship that turned exceedingly bad, with one half fancying the other and not being reciprocated.
12. Send me a link to your favorite poem on AP (not written by you).
http://allpoetry.com/poem/1756221 <-- Clayton Crowley
I couldn't possibly pick a favourite out of his poetry, but can say without qualms that I have felt tears rise at 90% of his poems.
13. If you could only take 3 things to a deserted island, what would they be?
- memories of good times gone by that I can sift through day by day
- a teddy, to cuddle while I lie alone at night
- a knife, to end it all when I can no longer bear the life of being alone.
14. What’s the one thing you admire most about yourself?
I can look back on the darkest time of my life, and say to myself, "you lived it, you wept in it, and now you're smiling back on it, because you know you won't let it happen again." It was, perhaps, the biggest achievement of my entire life.
15. What’s your least favorite thing about yourself?
I'm selfish at the best of times, and often hurt those I love without meaning to, because of times that I am thinking more of myself, than of them.
16. What do you do for a living? Do you enjoy it?
Currently, I am unemployed. Previously to being unemployed, I was a Client Hierarchy Analyst in financial banking, which I enjoyed, for the short time that I did it. Previous to that I was a musician and music teacher - gigging, teaching, composing. Now, I think when I return home, I will finally enter the canine business, which has always been my longing.
17. When was the last time you cried yourself to sleep?
A record four months ago.
18. Regarding the above question, why?
Thoughts of Bambi were flooding my mind; there's no way to explain the pain of losing her, and should a non animal lover read this, they will say 'pfft' and roll their eyes to heaven. But she was much more than a pet cat, she was a part of me - and always will be. I cannot think of her without tears for how much I miss her - even though I know that the good memories should outweigh the grieving but ... I'm still a little broken without her.
19. How would your closest friends describe you?
She has described me, on a social networking website, as,
"You are loyal fun musical and a party animal. You are fond of the vodka and baby guinness and used to live in the old oak.You are the best person to see live bands with
You have been bitten by the travel bug and the dwarf that lives in the corner under a lampshade."20. What song do you want played at you funeral?
"Come Home" - Paul Tate
The chorus goes like this,
"Come home, come home,
You who are weary come home
Earnestly, tenderly, Jesus is calling
Calling O Sinner come home"

21. What’s the last thing that made you laugh?
I'm spending Valentines Day from 9.30am to 3pm with my sister and an 80 year old Irish priest, sailing in Sydney Harbour.
22. What were your favorite bed sheets as a child?
Blue quilt, of shaded version, with yellow bedsheets and pillow.
23. If you could apologize to your Higher Power for something, what would it be?
Dear God, I am so sorry for ... you know what it is..
24. Where’s the funniest place you’ve ever had sex?
I can't comment on this question, because, to me, sex is not an enjoyable act unless it's with the right person for you - and I haven't found my right person yet.
25. Have you ever been caught having sex?
No.
26. What did you want to be when you grew up?
Originally, a veterinarian. Then I did two weeks work experience with a vet and rapidly changed my mind. After that, my greatest dream was to play music in the orchestras of West End musicals.
27. Have you ever truly been in love?
No, not [in] love. I have loved those where the love hasn't been reciprocated, and had those love me where I am not returning their emotions. And, of course, I love many, but of the platonic variation.
28. What’s your definition of love?
Love in general? When someone/something makes you smile, and makes you cry, makes you lose your temper, and makes you get so giddy that you feel like a dog with two tails. Sometimes you lose sleep over the person, or people. Sometimes, you sleep best because of them. Sometimes you lose your appetite, or enjoy gorging out. And sometimes, you want to lock yourself in a dark room and weep for all the ages, whilst other occasions, you think your grin will split your face and it hurts from being so cheerful. For me, you only feel that way because you care about someone so much that they affect all areas of your life. That's love.
29. Would you move to the moon if it was habitable?
No, never. I grew up by the sea, and feel like an outsider when I live in areas that are not close by to it. The moon, therefore, is out of the question.
30. How long did it take you to complete this?
Nearly 45 minutes. It has a little of me in it now, though.
