We say goodnight,
With pressed lips,
Touching foreheads,
Noses caress each other,
While our hands mimic knots.

Our love holds true,
Even through stormy weather,
And unloving fathers.

Tonight we sleep in each others arms,
Despite our thousand miles of distance.

Tomorrow is another day,
Our love rises again each day with the sun,
And is strengthened again by the light of the moon.

Soon we will be together,
Once again at peace in our minds,
The holes in our hearts filled,
Until we must part again.
