look in my eyes
what do you see?
well I know one thing you don't see is the real me.
all you see is the eyeliner and a dark and empty stare
so you look away with out a care
but if you only took the time
to read this rhyme
and look one more time
you'd see something else.
you'd see a girl that hated herself
and was terrified of everything else.
terrified of living her whole life alone
terrified to look in the mirror at the image shown.
terrified to know what everyone thought of her
but if you just took the time
to look past the dead look in her eyes and depressing rhymes
you'd see a girl that cared about everything
you'd see a girl crying
cause you left her there not caring that she was dying
