Whimsical Moon (haiku)

Veiled full white moon
mist of clouds drifting by
undiminished glow

Magical wisps of the clouds

Plays hide and seek with the moon

Look!  Before it hides!

Whisper of beauty
revealed for just a moment
just like fleeting life

Author notes

This is NOT a prewrite! I specifically put this up for this contest but somehow it didn't show up in your contest when I posted it. I think it is because I had an 'add' window open too at the same time??

Anyway I hope you will count this as a fresh write instead of a prewrite.

Picture is my own.

Thanks.

absolutely beautiful.very descriptive.I could almost see the moon as the cloud play hide and seek with it. It is almost like a dance.the two are intermingling. brillant write. and you are alway great with writng haikus.I loved your sentence breakage and the thought that went into this.great job.

Beautifully done, very discriptive while staying in form. The picture just fits right in with it.

well the picture is the moon I was inspired by to write this, but it was very difficult to get a good shot even with a good camera. This picture sort of blurs the moon but in real life it was shining as clearly as the full sun shines in the daytime- bold and proud and the haze was merely around it and even when the clouds were passing by the moon stayed the very same way. It was quite amazing, which is why I 'tried' to write about it!
