God, I look for you and find nothing.
Desolation surrounds me.
I search for you as my life falls away,
slowly being flayed, leaving me in
pieces, breaking away one at a time.
I struggle in this quagmire, slowly
suffocating in the filth that
surrounds me. Pain my only
companion, grief my solace.
My hand reaches heavenward,
longing for your touch, to feel
your breath blowing across my
barren existence. But there is
nothing, not a whisper, not a
single molecule moves.
I fall back into the morass of my
existence and exhale.
Please tell me what you think

wow this was powerful and flowed as with the imagery sounds like mine in a way. God is always with you. that pain is from satan that makes life seem like that. life is too short enjoy happiness and stay with your faith in Jesus reading his words following his commandment your distination is HEAVEN! don't let anyone tell you something else. Stay away from evildoers God will handle them. Be in an example of God and spread your spirit away.

"I fall back into the morass of my
existence and exhale."
Very deep and introspective. Beautifully penned.

So sad is your psalm Nemmy.
But, you know, we have all been here before, and, will be again no doubt.
Keep the faith Nemmy, and, soldier on. One day the sun will break through those clouds and your heart will leap. Your soul will cry out then not in sorrow but in heartfelt joy. Keep the faith my dear.

Wow. This is really dark and sad. I hope you're using poetic license here Nemmy, I'd hate to think you felt this bleak and alone.
The images are stark, the lack of direction and the search are palpable. This is a winter of the soul.
I hope to read the springtime poem soon!
