Eyes; reflection of cold ash,
depth of soul counts sorrow
where love sleeps.
Lips; hidden smiles, weighed down
by tears of ignored hopes.
Soul; emptied, where heart pleaded
for miracles; rejection realized.
Ache; keeps company with time,
sand blows with winded meanings.
Kisses; on a beautiful cheek as heavy hugs
blend with meaningless sighs.
Another sleepless night bends
thoughts into faded days,
of un-photographed
memories.
