Quit Asking

That's really not your business

I would surely like to say

Why does my life concern you

every single day

It's not my business what you do

I don't really care or want to know

It's not my job to change your life

so I just let it go

If you just want to gossip

and make enemy's on the way

Then find someone else to ask

see what they have to say

Knowing you don't really care

and I don't want to tell

If you want to be my friend

then quit asking or go to hell

Author notes

prompt..."Tomorrow I'll go to school and people who don't care are going to ask me a million questions about something they don't need to know."

I have never been able to decide if my friends care or not, but the interminable questions always seem to be prying into things which I wish to remain private. Great write and the title is an excellent choice for the poem that follows. Very well done.
