Rights

Constitutional Democracy
So confused, so derogatory
Infused with the voice of the conditional
Freedom of speech
First amendment
Codependent
Defendant on the stand
Man of flesh
Man of sand
Paid for with the blood of
Soldiers dead
Hole in head
You pay the price
Of your own device
Demise
Cold and contempt
On the pew of redemption
Content to
Bare witness to the corruption
Of governments led by
False prophets, by
Cold Hands holding
prayers, folding
Over the dreams of the Fore Fathers
Writing our Conditional
First Amendment Constitutional
Rights to guarantee
We, men of the Earth,
Men of the First
Will not rest on the pew
Again, forever
Because you and I
Me and you
Sit here, on our asses
To be free
In the wind
With purity or sin
But at the very least
We must be free
Exercise your right
Time and time again
To be free
