Sweet Depression (my mind right now)

In these silken days I sing
These silk and silver days I sing
And clouds there only rain to bring
And rain there faster sleep to bring
These golden days I sing.

From sky to earth and back to sky
And broken earth and shattered sky
For these and broken days I sigh
And for my faithful blade I sigh
And silken rain held in the sky.

Lost beneath the clouds to weep
These gold and silver days I weep.
The way to heaven is too steep.
Alone, beneath the rain I sleep
Beneath my faithful one I sleep.

But in these silken days I sing
Still, these silver days I sing.

Author notes

No, it won't be my last song.

I'm determined to last. I know that no one likes hearing about cutting, or suicide, so I tried to make it unique. I expressed myself. None of that gory graphic imagery for me.

I hate depression, but at the same time I love it, it's so beautifully sad and introspective. I see everything through a foggy glass; this is depression. Fog on the window; I look through, and it's summer outside.

Outstanding!!! I could feel the sweet depression as i read this work of art. Sometime the best writing comes when we are depress.

Lost beneath the clouds to weep
These gold and silver days I weep.
The way to heaven is too steep.
Alone, beneath the rain I sleep
Beneath my faithful one I sleep.

Wonderfully penned. Thanks for the read and keep on writing.
