you don't need the sun to make you shine

I trip over your presence.
You keep me falling.
In fact I've fallen so hard so many times I think something must be wrong, out of place of some sorts.

For I can only think of you.
Your smile.
Your laugh.
Your innocent childlike excitability.

I glance at you ever so often, just out of the corner of my eye,
and the sun reflecting off your hair, changes colors.

Red, gold, brown.

I'm amazed at just the sight of you.

Do you not understand?

All I ask is that you keep me on my feet long enough for me to look into your eyes, only for a single moment of everyday.
Because the beauty of you Is worth all the bruises in the world.
