There once was a great big depression,
which left a really nasty impression.
Since pain doesn't last,
we've repeated the past
accept denial dictates a recession.

My father lived through The Great Depression. Believe you me, I've heard plenty of stories about how bad it really was. For those who may not have read about it, here's a couiple of links:
