Lost In Words

In translation,
it is lost,
Unnavigable in your unchartered storms that lead me to this place
(our place)
once again

We are (were) but one
speaking and breathing those sweet moments,
oxygen levels  none too steady,
but we were one, once

Lost in dreams of your other days
in the whispers that held me tight
and fought for me fiercely
safety taken for granted, for the folds were oh so deep

Lost in those words,
the ones that slipped away during the turbulance
that pride gobbled up and spit into hell’s entrance
The ones that are the only thing
that could have saved us

Your last stanza is just amazingly perfect.
Much better than my own write of the same title.

Your words, as always, are stunning. Drawing us into them to imaging the same emotion for ourselves.

    Good luck hon
