Whispers
Tickling my ear
The words leave the little girls lips
As they swirl in my head
Will you help me chase the bad monsters away?

Author notes
This was inspired by a little conversation i had with my 3 year old cousin who insisted that we all work together to chase the bad monsters away. She then informed me that there were friendly monsters living outside in the bush. They were me my sister and someone called martha. Dont you just love little kids imaginations.

Wow. This was chilling. I loved it. You did a fantastic job relaying that particular even in your life into a magnificent poem.
Write on.

Out of the mouth of babes come the cutest and most innocent words. Thanks for sharing and thanks for writing for my contest. I'm honored to have you show your work here.

Awe, wonderful inspiration in a child, out of mouths of babes, it is like even saying pray together and for one another. Blessings. I tell my grandson who is also 3 that angels surround those monsters and then he always says "angels are over there." Blessings.
