i emerge
thickly
with hope dripping
quietly leaning into
faith-streams with wide eyes
horizon-setthere
i hear light
speak light and ibecome
centered entirely about thismy coil
contained
a swirl
both wonderful and dangerous
trembling my step
unsure and yet
solidly set rock-fastanchored
within ancient words dripping
blood soaked promisesspoken
aloud into clouds buriedwithin
stonea cold cave’s oppressive
blacknessbeneath
the dark embrace
cannot holdthe Brightly Graced
cannot fathomthe awakening universe
i see displayed in realmsabove
where mountain tumbled rolling
rubble criesaloud of compassion’s throne
where tall treestremble at the slightest
breezethis breath
this life-swept clarity
singing deeply resonanttolls
within my depthso marvelously
no human tongue could measure
its purityits veracity
its own dear weightwithin my soul
this joyfaith finds when home

Ah! What a splendor this poem spins. I read this aloud as I do all poetry and the way it rolls off the tongue is mesmerizing. Faith surrounds each line. Light, life, love, living are words that pique from my soul after reading these well-placed words of wonder. Exquisite! I have missed you and your poetry dear friend and I pray all is well.
Always with LOVE ♥

Perfection
Richard, many times have u read my work and said that I have spoken of what is inside your soul at that given moment, this my friend is completely and utterly ,exactly where I am now.....and it is wonderful, yet scary, breathtaking yet beautiful....like a new born standing for the first time and seeing the world at it's new, yet more beautiful angle, knowing that this is what it looks like, the way it is supposed to... tentatively, silently surveying the wonder, wondering whether to take the next step or to actually stay right here...and enjoy this for now....., yet knowing what pain birth brings (we sure know that), yet this beauty surpasses that..... it's beautiful Richard, beyond words----or history, thank you for writing , your word's are beautiful, poetic and they reached right down inside of me and made sense of where I stand, right here and right now......once again I stand with u my friend and that is a wonderful, privilege....keep walking my friend...on your own two feet, enjoy the beauty and wonder of the world, let it touch you, suckle you, enthrall you...
with so much love and admiration for the hours of blood, sweat and tears it has taken for u to get to this point...no longer keep healing my friend,.......but keep loving and allowing yourself to be loved....rebirth at its purist form x

Lisa, over time, we have learned so much about healing and how similar the process is for us - - even when particularly unique, there are threads we all share - - i am so thankful for the wonder of discovery and the resonance it creates within us as we learn to trust once more.

Still awesome
Ah, I have missed you, my friend. Your unmistakeable take on life...your unique turn of phrase....all those traits comforting in their familiarity....still rare, still treasured. Funny that the first of your poems I read on my return is this. Synchronicity, as always, in our paths and needs. This faith, when home, finds joy!

i am bowled over by this in many ways. thr structure is such that it makes a continuos read a real high. it's able to flow gently along while giving out a strong message of faith. the rymthm makes read like a rhyming piece. it's so very soothing in its deliverance. so very well done.
