I Wrote the Words

I Wrote the Words
©copyright 2004 Bonita M Quesinberry

I wrote the words no one wants to read.
Buried deep in man's blasphemous creeds,
spewed from pulpits they all eat up lies
and call it truth; though their hate doth cry.
They think I do not hear those smooth words;
but, I hear well— my truth they have blurred,
teaching lies leading to destruction.
Would just one follow My instruction?

I wrote the words no one wants to read.
They all do abominable deeds,
calling good evil and evil good;
doing nothing as I said they should.
They say there is no life manual,
Yet, I sent to them Immanual,
A perfect man on whom they trample.
Will just one follow His example?

I wrote the words no one wants to believe;
yet, man's word they readily receive
without comparing it against Mine,
thinking they have more than enough time.
Alas, all of man's years have run out;
for My Christ soon will mightily shout
with trumpets sounding clearly and loud.
Will just one join My Son in the cloud?

I wrote the words no one wants to read;
so, I taught those untutored my creed:
my sheep not of man's seminaries.
Now, they speak as My luminaries:
only My testimony preaching,
only of My Commandments teaching.
Yea, they are hearing Our trumpets loud,
and soon will join My Son in the cloud!

I wrote the words no one wants to read;
but, will you listen to My true creed
spoken by My children of pure light?
Will you agree with them upon sight?
Will you obey all their instruction,
keeping your selves from My destruction?
For, if you obey, you do love Me
and, soon, heaven's kingdom you will see.

I wrote the words I want you to read,
to learn and obey only my creed.
For, you see, I can take no pleasure
in destroying your lack and leisure;
but, know this, I will do what I said:
by My righteousness deem you twice dead.
You will weep and wail and gnash your teeth
in a pit of fire beneath my feet.

I wrote all the words you should have read
to keep you twice alive, yet not dead.
Nineteen ninety-one ended your trials,
my judgment rendered to close the files:
each one marked innocent or guilty;
for yet some failed and still are filthy.
Sentencing then rendered by My Son
when He comes in the cloud, It Is Done!

Righteous ones join Him in joyous tears;
the guilty left dead with their worst fears.
Then earth shall lie barren and fallow;
because my rules man did not follow,
every seven years a sabbath rest:
that she may always produce the best.
Thus, one thousand years sabbath for her:
this is just one fact wicked man blurred.

Read my warnings in Revelation,
those my flock received with elation.
All the prophecies have been fulfilled,
on earth, just as in heaven I willed.
Six plagues long since cast about the earth,
the seventh, in My Son's wake, a curse,
as He crosses your skies east to west
to escort His now heavenly blessed.

Read my warnings of Old Testament—
read it, all ye who contested it;
for there it shows who is left behind:
those wicked and filthy and unkind,
lying dead, for the eagles a feast;
not mourned are these children of the beast.
Lucifer alone will bear your stink,
a thousand years of it he will drink.

I wrote all the words you should have read
to keep you twice alive, never dead.
Your bodies lie there one thousand years,
but your souls grind teeth in bitter tears:
for ye shall not have a quiet rest.
Nay, for you it is not still a test:
your resurrection to utter death,
your names never again on my breath.

Eighteen years Armageddon has been,
warning cold and lukewarm of their sin
and sounding Christ even at earth's door.
Still, you refuse to fall to the floor,
begging my mercy upon your knees
and humbly confessing as you plead.
Instead, you swear love is all I AM.
I also hate! You filthy be damned.

I wrote the Laws you should have obeyed,
yet you chose man's, thus Me you betrayed.
You love smooth words and to those adhere,
while saying it is mine you did hear.
Listen! There are not seven more years,
no secret rapture to stop your tears!
Nor still a thousand years to repent.
Judgment is done, I shall not relent.

Armageddon is not what you think,
but bitter waters you chose to drink.
Outside old Jerusalem's Dung Gate,
I will quickly execute your fate
there in the Valley of Decision.
For garbage, I make no revision.
All this is in My testimony,
written true without acrimony.

I wrote the words no one wants to read.
Buried deep in man's myriad creeds,
Spewed from pulpits they all eat up lies
and call it truth; though their hate doth cry.
They think I do not hear those smooth words;
but, I hear well— my truth they have blurred,
preaching lies leading to destruction.
Ten per cent follow My instruction.

    from Brother Bob Elmatti

    Awe inspiring. First read was slow and hard going.
    Subsequent readings brought forth delight. Truth and wisdom beyond the norm. The rhythmic way was intoxicating.

    The truth of God's word was as clear as if you had declared it from the mountain top! Your charge is to continue bringing the Truth to light.

    I look forward to reading this many more times and
    I pray the Lord will favor you with much happiness.
    I choose God ’s Love and lay claim to it for you and me by the sacrifice of Our Lord Jesus Christ

    My love to you Sister Bonnie

      Thank you, hon, for the very kind review; and, I am so pleased that you understood its meaning. Indeed, Immanual means "God among us;" for Jesus epitomized the qualities of our Father and His.

      Thank you, Viyanna, for such a glowing and uplifting review! More often than not, I get blasted for being so in-your-face with God's Truths, that being my primary reason for writing at all.

    I believe it is my first time reading your work and this is breath taking, emotional and beautiful. My husband and I read the bible and found it dfficult to understand in parts. We took turns reading to eachother and did research together.Once we made it to the end we read the novel, The Book Of God! It help us to understand things easier and led us to reading the bible once again. Your poem yet has opened my eye's to even more and I look forward to reading it to my husband. I was brought up in what many call two ways. Religious with church and native american with respecting the earth and all living things that was given as a gift by the great spirit. I applaud you for this wonderful poem. Some may feel its long yet, what is eternity for those who have faith.

      Thank you so much, Angel, for sharing the story of your ongoing journey through God's Word; one I have always found exciting and enlightening. There are 3 things God gives in that vain to help us receive His interpretation, as opposed to man's: how to study His Word, why to study His Word, and whom we can trust to teach and guide us. These differ dramatically from man's way, but the revelations found in God's way are far more dramatic. I think I have a brief post here entitled "Bible Study." If not, I will make a point of posting it today, for several others here have asked to see it.

      Much love in Christ, BonnieQ

    amazing

    This is so beautifully written, it shows your knowledge, and the words are filled with power. Every line seems to say something that we should all listen to, and once you start reading it you can't stop. I love how you talk about writing words in each verse, it really adds something to your poem.

    Keep writing,
    Holly.

    Brilliant

    It just reminds me of a longer version of my sons simple yet perfectly true poem Where Will You Go? Yes there is one of two place and that's Heaven or Hell. Well you wrote out God's word into a poem so beautifully woven from the old testament to the new testament. Brilliant write I must say. You are an amazing Christian and poetess. It's been an honor to read your poetry.

    Wishing You Many Blessing,
    Much Love Always,

    I like this. I am starting to think that the 7th seal has been opened, and we are in the half hour's silence in heaven at this very moment.
    An half hour to a listening child waiting can seem like forever.
    Correct me if I am wrong because I have wild notions at times and I don't mind being corrected. Good luck in the contest. You are a good writer, blessed and highly favored

      And, your thinking is spot on, Jaalbad; for Jesus is about to arrive with mankind's sentencing: guilty or innocent, noted by whether we join Him in the clouds or are left behind quite "dead from one end of earth to the other end." Yes, indeed, that "half hour" seems interminable when under heavy persecution and knowing our Lord is the only one to bring it to and end. Thank you so much for your knowledgeable and uplifting comments. Luv & hugs, BonQ

      Thank you, Jason. The first trumpet sounded in Feb 1991 with Desert Storm, the beginning of the last church age Laodicea. Theologians disagree; alas, they are blind and deaf to these end days and look for things from a finite perspective instead of spirtually. Jesus is about to render the sentencing.

    There is absolutely no question that you can write well, and bountifully. I do not believe God hates, and I certainly find no excuse in the Bible at all for people hating other people. I also do not believe "God" wrote the actual words you are likely reading today -- they've gone through too many translations from the original aramaic, latin, greek, etc. Pastor Melissa Scott is a television preacher who does a very good job with this whole topic, taking people who care to listen, back to the original meanings of the words in their original language and the intent of the men who wrote the bible, which as she says, is directed by God. But to take it literally, rather than as a lesson by which you yourself may be inspired, is unreasonable. Too many passages (stone the women who have been raped, slaves obey your masters, women should be silent in church) have just got to be taken in the context in which they were written. Your poem likewise I read as an allegory, calling people to pay attention to what is really important, rather than selfish, greedy behavior.

    A "tour de force"!

    You would make John Bunyan tremble!

    "I wrote the words no one wants to read..."

    Nonetheless the Bible is the most widely read and widely distributed book in the world!

    A piece sure to have all the foot-washers quaking in their socks.

    I had trouble with the wording of this line "I taught those untutored my creed: ", am I reading it wrong? Or is there a word missing?

    Loved this line "Lucifer alone will bear your stink,
    a thousand years of it he will drink."

    For a piece so long, it is surprisingly well-written.

    Oh! I just got to the end and am cracking up. Brilliant, brilliant! That was so worth whipping my short attention span into obedience.

      Thank you, Pessoa, for the kind comments and query about the one line; which is correct as it stands. Biblically, the untutored are those not having been taught by man in man's seminaries; for Jesus said He would teach babes (unschooled) and they will teach the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

      I'm not quite sure what had you cracking up at the end or what was so "Brilliant" about it Perhaps, you will enlighten me.
