There's no way you could see past the gleam in your own eyes.
Though as you look closer I feel your gaze lock into mine.
Why don't you break the connection
when you don't even know it exists?
Why stare in the same direction?
Even though I wish you could see me
like I see all of you,
all you can stare at is yourself.
You're simply a prisoner trapped inside your own being
unaware there s more behind the life that you are seeing
If you would only make an attempt to break the gladd,
you would see there was more than your own eyes staring back.
Why don't you see the connection,
and why don't you make that attempt
as I look in your direction.
Even though I wish you could see me

My attention is starting to falter,
and my interest is starting to fade.
