Strong of spirit, strong of will,
The girl grew up, stayed home until
Her adult life had just begun...
She was now a party of one.
Freedom her ticket, feeling alive,
The girl felt life about to arrive.
She met a boy who made her feel new...
He and she made a party of two.
Love was their answer to all they could ask,
They felt up to the challenge, up to the task.
They were so happy and so carefree...
Soon they became the party of three.
Diapers and dishes and bottles pile up,
Teaching to drink from a pink sipee cup.
They didn't think they could handle more...
But God has His plan---party of four.
Life has a way of turning around
All of the plans --- they're upside down.
She caught her breath, she would survive...
The baby who made them "party of five".
The kids have all grown with lives of their own,
The couple has time---no need to postpone.
They'll rekindle their love, make it brand new...
Love till the end...party of two.
