Paint me a picture of periwinkle and persimmon,
a hue of harlequin and heliotrope,
a shade of sangria and saffron,
and azure and amethyst.
Color me a canopy of cobalt and chartreuse,
a tint of taupe and tangerine,
a blush of burgundy and beige,
and mauve and malachite.
Etch me an eclipse of emerald and ecru,
a streak of cerise and sepia,
a flush of fuchsia and firebrick,
and lilac and lavender.
Grant me Your grace in gold and grey,
so that I see the solidity of the stars in Your sapphire skies,
and the eternity in Your everlasting emerald earth,
and the perfect power of Your peaches and pears and papayas.
With love, I shall see light,
with faith, I shall see fortune,
with belief, I shall see beauty,
and with conviction, I shall see color.
Author notes
I hope this is what you were looking for.
I know the colors are a little out there, but I wanted it to be different.
Thank you.

Rich in Colour!
I feel that you summed up the whole in the last stanza, a perfect ending to a perfectly delightful colour palatte richer in more than just colour, Miranda. I thoroughly enjoyed every word, every line by a remarkably talented writer.
