A Day In A Place Called Oak Park(True Story)

Three of us went across the lake
We took a case of keiths what a mistake
We cut a cord and called it a day
Loaded it on the truck, and were on our way
Back to stan the mans to have some brew
Then big Al showed up, what a crew
We sat at stans to tell a yarn
Cause we didnt want to go to big Als barn
We passed the guitar and told good jokes
While stan was sippin and lighting smokes
Corbit called on his wife, to bring some liquor
She came to bring it and they began to bicker
He just kept demanding he wanted more
But we knew his wife he did adore
Alan was getting a little buzzed
Drinking beer cause that what he does
He didnt get out the drive-way he was in the ditch
That ice was slippery what a bitch
Shanon came along to tow him out
He stood on the shoulder to point and shout
I drove him home so he didnt get caught
He would be safe ,what a plot
I went home later that afternoon
That was our day well do it again soon
