The heat of fire melts the Ice
When the flame burns bright
A moment of passion is the spark
In the darkness of the night
Yet with the coming of the dawn
When only embers still remain
The ice returns with winter's blow
The soul then it does reclaim

Deep and thought provoking!
read it a few times over and each time I got something more from it... another feeling or interpretation.
As always excellent write!

I'm sorry I've been away so long!
This write is chock-full of meaning. Short & easy to read, & amazingly done!

this is much more meaningful, a deepness within these words, mixed metaphors used in a lovley rhyme, its got a solid smooth flow, making the reader think a little more as your words emerge
well done again

this is really good.
"a moment of passion is the spark
in the darkness of the night"
this feels like a love poem almost.
but it can be many things;
love, thoughts or just random
either way i like it.
